Due to an awful oversight, the LiveJournal comm had been set 'members only' which means anyone 'watching' has not had access to anything posted there.

Our sincere apologies to everyone here, it was never our intention to restrict access or force anyone to become a member and we hadn't realised our mistake until last weekend and we're very sorry for the mix-up. The comm here at DW was correctly set as public entries, it's only the LJ site that was affected, but you guys still missed out on the fic posted there, you could see the summaries but not gain access to any fic.

We'd like to offer a solution to the best of our ability.

Sadly we can't change the security of past posts, but what we can do is make a list of entries which were posted there and included the direct links back to the poster's public journal entry, by-passing the locked comm posts, works like a rec list, links here will lead you directly to the fic.

Thank you to all our wonderful posters.

As it's been a bit of a quiet week, I spent last night dipping my toes into Tumblr. I admit, I have NO clue how things work over there, or what I'm doing! However, we now - I think - *fingers crossed* have a Bat Cave Tumblr. ~~I think,~~ it should be open to submissions, so if you have a Tumblr you can post your Bat Cave pictures or gifs to it, or - well, I don't understand Tumblr those of you who do know what to do yes? Can other's re-blog to it? I don't know!! If not, drop a note here to the newsletter if you want something you've seen that's amazing or pretty or interesting added to it and I think I can re-blog it? In other words, just tell me what to do and I'll sort it ok?

A new community hosting fanworks inspired by the Winchester's new home base, The Bat Cave.

With the discovery of the so called Bat Cave (the Men of Letters bunker), we felt that our very own Bat Cave was needed in order to host all the wonderful works that will be inspired by the place.

We accept all genres of fics, graphics, vids, recs, discussions and meta, either posted directly here or in links back to your own personal spaces.

We have created a few tags to start us off but we'll be adding more as we see the types of works posted.

We are also open at Live Journal - spn_batcave If we have different works posted to the different sites we hope to provide you with a summary of links so you don't miss anything.

If you'd like to help us pimp here's a handy text box to help you. Just copy the contents and post to your journal. Thanks! <3
